Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a fuel manufacturing method, the objective of the invention being to provide a source gas manufacturing method, a fuel manufacturing method, and a device therefor such that even when a batch-type electrolysis system is adopted, the mixing ratio of H2 and CO2 in source material can be adjusted with high precision. First, a first round of electrolysis is performed according to an initial condition that has been set so as to achieve a production ratio of PRH2/CO = 2. Then, the amount of the gas component in an air layer (44) is measured subsequent to the first round of electrolysis, and a second round of electrolysis is performed on the basis of the measurement result. During the second round of electrolysis, volatile CO2 mixed into the air layer (44) is redissolved in an electrolytic solution in a cathode chamber (32) in order to adjust the CO2 concentration in the electrolytic solution. Performing electrolysis in this manner allows the mixing ratio (MRH2/CO) in the air layer (44) to be adjusted finely so that the mixing ratio can be brought close to MRH2/CO = 2.
