Abstract:
Provided is a sowing device that prevents soil stirred up by rotation of grooving disks from settling on sowing grooves and making the sowing grooves shallower, and enables seeds to be sown at a desired depth in the sowing grooves. This sowing device 1 is designed to sow seeds in a field, and provided with: a hopper 9 for storing seeds; a delivery unit 6 for delivering the seeds from the hopper 9; a pair of grooving disks 8, 8 for forming, in the field, sowing grooves in which the seeds delivered by the delivery unit 6 are sown; and a return soil prevention plate 11 which, when the sowing grooves are formed, prevents field soil stirred up by rotation of the grooving disks 8 from settling on the formed sowing grooves.
