Abstract:
A spacer for cooling devices that allows a large amount of gas to flow under a small pressure. Such spacer for cooling devices is used to define a cooling flow passage in a cooling device. The cooling device referred to herein is used to cool the body by using a blowing means to cause a gas to flow through a substantially flat cooling flow passage formed on the side that contacts the body. The spacer for cooling devices comprises a plurality of pillar members (32a) having a length component extending in the direction of the thickness of the cooling flow passage, and a plurality of connecting members (33a) for connecting the front ends of the plurality of pillar members (32a). The plurality of pillar members (32a) are integrally formed through a base member (35) so that they physically continuously connect together. Further, the plurality of pillar members (32a) have a width of 0.2 mm - 1 cm orthogonal to the direction of flow of the gas as seen in the direction of the thickness of the cooling flow passage and are formed at a rate of 0.1 - 25 units for each 1 cm?2¿ as seen in the direction of the thickness of the cooling flow passage.
