Abstract:
The present invention relates to a spangle guiding device for a double cylinder type circular knitting machine. The spangle guiding device can be easily attached to a typical double cylinder type circular knitting machine, and spangles can be continuously supplied between the layers of a double layered fabric so as to prevent the spangles from directly contacting the user's skin. To this end, pile-forming needles (22) are provided to a horizontal upper cylinder (20); weaving needles (12) are provided to a vertical lower cylinder (10); a lower cam box (11) is provided to the upper portion of the upper cylinder (20); an upper cam box (21) is provided to the outer portion of the lower cylinder (10); yarn guiders (30) for guiding yarn (W) are arrayed around the upper cam box (21); a connecting thread (W') continuously connecting spangles (50) to one another is supplied; a spangle guiding member (41) is provided to the upper cam box (21) between the yarn guiders so as to guide the supplied connecting thread (W') downward; and a cut recess (41a) is disposed on the front end of the spangle guiding member (41) to guide and discharge the spangles (50) at a certain angle.
