Abstract:
A spangle supply device of the present invention comprises: a driving unit including a plurality of driving rollers which are adjacent to each other on the right and left sides and respectively transfer spangle tapes of different sizes respectively rolled in a plurality of spangle tape reel downwards; a plurality of stepping motors for rotating the driving rollers, and a plate-shaped body in which the driving rollers and the stepping motors are mounted; a guide unit which is connected to the lower side of the driving unit for guiding the spangle tapes of different sizes towards needles of an embroidery machine, the spangle tapes being parallel to each other in the vertical direction; a cutting knife which is located in front of the guide unit and able to move up and down and cuts the spangle tapes which are guided to be parallel with each other in the vertical direction; a lifting unit with a rear side fixed to a side of the head of the embroidery machine and a front end connected through a link to the rear side, which raises or lowers the driving unit as the front side is raised or lowered by an air cylinder; and a controller which controls the driving unit and the lifting unit by transmitting different signals to the stepping motors, respectively, using one, two, three or more jump signals between a spangle supply starting signal and a spangle supply finishing signal so as to control the stepping motors to be driven simultaneously or individually. Accordingly, it is possible to simultaneously supply and cut the spangle tapes of different sizes with different diameters of spangles. Furthermore, sewing efficiency can be improved because two spangles are overlapped and sewed together rapidly, and productivity can be improved due to sewing of a large amount of spangles in a short time.
