Abstract:
The present invention relates to a spark arresting apparatus method for a relay module, which prevent physical contact points from being fused or damaged by heat from a spark generated during a process of engaging and disengaging two physical contact points according to whether or not a current is applied to a coil having a relay circuit. The spark arresting apparatus for the relay module according to the present invention diverts a current, which is flowing to a relay contact unit, to a semiconductor switch when a relay driving power source is blocked, wherein the semiconductor switch connects a space between the relay contact points so that the spark can be prevented when contact points of the relay contact unit are separated from each other, thus achieving the effect of solving problems caused by the fusing of the contact units of existing relays.
