Abstract:
The lowering of a flying-spark performance is suppressed, and the level of radio noise generated from a spark plug is reduced. A spark plug comprises: an insulator having a shaft hole formed in the axial direction; a center electrode provided at one end of the shaft hole; a terminal bracket provided at the other end of the shaft hole; and a connection part that electrically connects the center electrode and the terminal bracket within the shaft hole. The connection part of the spark plug includes a resistor, and the center electrode side resistance value, which is the resistance value on the center electrode side of the center of the resistor in the axial direction, is greater than the terminal bracket side resistance value, which is the resistance value on the terminal bracket side from the center of the resistor.
