Abstract:
Since in spatial light receiving devices, in order to improve coupling efficiency of receiving light and a fiber, the circuit scale of a signal processing circuit increases and cost increases due to the fact that signal processing becomes complicated, this spatial light receiving device has: a light collecting unit that collects laser light propagated in a spatial transmission path; a multimode transmission medium, to which the laser light is inputted, and from which multimode light is outputted; a multimode signal processing unit that outputs a plurality of reception electrical signals based on a part of the multimode light; a monitor unit that monitors signal information based on the multimode light; a control unit that controls operations of the multimode signal processing unit on the basis of the signal information; and a signal processing unit, which performs signal processing with respect to the reception electrical signals, and outputs an output signal formed by synthesizing the reception electrical signals.
