Abstract:
Provided is a speaker apparatus in which the bass range can be further increased using a simple construction, and without the enlargement thereof. The speaker apparatus is provided with a pipe (102) that is opened on one-end side and the other-end side thereof; a speaker unit (104) that is coaxial with the pipe (102), arranged at one-end side of the pipe (102), and is driven on the basis of an audio signal; an edge / vibration-plate (102B) that is coaxial with the pipe (102), mounted at the other-end side of the pipe (102), and vibrates with sound waves passing through the inside of the pipe (102). While the pipe (102) is made to function as a resonance tube by being excited to vibration with sound waves radiated from the speaker unit (104) and passing-through inside the pipe (102), the edge / vibration-plate (102B) is made to function as a passive radiator by being vibrated with the sound waves passing-through inside the pipe (102).
