Abstract:
The present invention enables the realization of a lighter and more compact speaker device that is capable of high fidelity reproduction of a wider range of frequencies of sound. Provided is a speaker device comprising: a front panel on which one or more speaker units are provided; a rear panel opposing the front panel with an air chamber therebetween; and a side panel that comprises a plurality of faces provided between the front panel and the rear panel, and that, along with the front panel and the rear panel, forms the air chamber, wherein the side panel comprises, on at least two of the plurality of faces thereof, projecting reinforcing parts that extend in the direction from the front panel toward the rear panel. Also provided is a method for manufacturing the speaker device.
