Abstract:
A speaker system is provided that enables a user to hear sound in a mode suitable to the situation. A main body (2) is formed so as to be wearable around the user's ears. An audio signal input unit (104) inputs an audio signal. A speaker unit (4) is arranged on the main body (2), and outputs sound corresponding to the audio signal. An earphone unit (10) is connected to the main body 2 and outputs sound corresponding to the audio signal. A detection unit (106) detects the state of whether or not the earphone unit (10) is being used. An output control unit (110) performs control such that the audio signal is outputted to the speaker unit (4) in the case that the earphone unit (10) is in a non-use state. Meanwhile, the output control unit performs control such that the audio signal is outputted to the earphone unit (10) in the case that the earphone unit (10) is in a use state.
