Abstract:
Provided is a speaker system comprising: a first speaker that generates sound by using an installation surface; a second speaker that generates sound without using the installation surface; a suitability determination means that determines the suitability of an installation environment for the first speaker, based on at least the sound generated by the first speaker; and a correction means that corrects sound quality based on the suitability of the installation environment determined by the suitability determination means, such that composite frequency characteristics for the sound generated by the first and second speakers approach target frequency characteristics. This enables variations in sound quality due to differences between installation environments to be appropriately suppressed.
