Abstract:
Provided is a speaker system which reproduces a sound that a surrounding user may not hear without using an earphone, a headphone, or a massive speaker array. This speaker system, which emits a sound so that a sound based on a first acoustic signal, …, a sound based on a 2N-1st acoustic signal are heard only in the vicinity, when N is an integer equal to or greater than 1, and the 2n-1st acoustic signal (n-1, …, N) is obtained on the basis of an object to be reproduced, comprises an n-th speaker unit pair (n=1, …, N) including: a speaker unit (hereinafter, a positive speaker unit) which emits a sound based on the 2n-1st acoustic signal; and a speaker unit (hereinafter, a negative speaker unit) which emits a sound based on a 2n-th acoustic signal that has an inverted phase to the 2n-1st acoustic signal.
