Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a high performance and high quality curved diaphragm speaker system that enables reproduction of sound for a plurality of bandwidths and has flawless performance for both hearing-impaired and non-hearing-impaired people. [Solution] A speaker unit 10 according to the present invention comprises at least a first diaphragm 1 shaped as a cone, a second diaphragm 2 shaped as a curved sheet, and a driver unit 4 that drives both the first diaphragm and the second diaphragm. A small diameter side 1a of the first diaphragm and one end side 2a of the second diaphragm are connected to the driver unit. The second diaphragm has a plurality of areas that have different resonance characteristics, as a result of the curvature of the vibration surface changing partway along the length direction from the one end side to the other end side. This speaker unit is mounted on a case 50 and acts as a speaker 100.
