Abstract:
A special engine for a range extender, comprising a cylinder body (1). The cylinder body (1) is provided with a cylinder (3); the cylinder (3) is internally provided with a piston (4) that is vertically slidable along the inner wall of a cylinder liner; the top end surface of the piston (4) is recessed in the axial direction of the piston (4) to form a combustion chamber; the combustion chamber is a rotary body having an ω-shaped axial cross-section; the rotation axis of the rotary body coincides with the centerline of the cylinder (3); the cylinder body (1) is internally provided with a crankshaft mounting hole (2); a crankshaft passes through the crankshaft mounting hole (2); the crankshaft is arranged directly below the cylinder (3); the crankshaft is connected to the piston (4) by means of a connecting rod (7); the cylinder centerline (6) is not in the same plane as a rotation centerline (5) of the crankshaft; that is, the rotation centerline (5) of the crankshaft is laterally offset by a distance e relative to the cylinder centerline (6); the wall of the top part of the crankshaft installation hole (2) is provided with an oil groove (8); the crankshaft mounting hole (2) is provided with a main bearing bush; the main bearing bush comprises an upper bush and a lower bush (9); the lower bush (9) is of an arc shape having an upward opening; a left oil storage cavity (10) and a right oil storage cavity (11) are provided in the inner wall of the lower bush (9); the left oil storage cavity (10) and the right oil storage cavity (11) are provided symmetrically about the central axis of the lower bush (9); the interior of the combustion chamber has an opening diameter Da and a throat diameter Di; the ratio of the opening diameter Da to the throat diameter Di is 1.19-1.38; the top of the piston (4) is also provided with a fuel injector (12); and the top of the fuel injector (12) extends by a height H into the combustion chamber from the open end of the combustion chamber. According to the engine for a range extender, the lubrication is improved, the friction loss of the piston and the bearing bush is reduced, and the combustion efficiency is improved.
