A special motor for dishwasher comprises a motor body (2) and a variable frequency driving unit (3) connected to one end of the motor body (2). The motor body (2) comprises a stator (22), a rotor (23) matching with the stator (22) and a middle cover (24) fixedly connected with the stator (22). The variable frequency driving unit (3) comprises a back end cover (31) and a variable frequency driving controller (32). The back end cover (31) is fixedly connected to the middle cover (24) and the variable frequency driving controller (32) is accommodated between the back end cover (31) and the middle cover (24). A water pump assembly using the special motor for dishwasher is a three segments connecting structure composed of a water pump (1), the motor body (2) and the variable frequency driving unit (3). The water pump (1) is connected to the other end of the motor body (2). The variable frequency driving unit (3) drives the water pump (1) to work by the motor body (2) and controls the frequency-conversion and speed-adjusting of the motor body (2).
