Abstract:
This specific gravity sorting device comprises: a sorting device main body having an air-permeable vibrating plate disposed at an incline, a blower that feeds air to the vibrating plate, and a vibrator that vibrates the vibrating plate; either or both of a first detector that detects the concentration of a first metal element in a higher-specific-gravity sorted ash that is discharged from the vibrating plate and a second detector that detects the concentration of a second metal element in a lower-specific-gravity sorted ash that is discharged from the vibrating plate; and a controller that, on the basis of a detector-detected concentration, controls the sorting device main body such that said detected concentration maintains a prescribed concentration range.
