Abstract:
In order that the direction of a specific surface such as a bristle implant surface can be determined without changing the position of a gauge head for each brush product to be determined, a front/back determination system (1) for determining the direction of a bristle implant surface (7u) of a handle (7) of a brush is provided with a gauge head lifting and lowering cylinder (43) for moving a gauge head (41) so that the gauge head (41) approaches the bristle implant surface (7u), and a front/back determining unit (5) for detecting the position of the gauge head (41) when the gauge head (41) comes into contact with the handle (7) and stops and determining the direction of the bristle implant surface (7u) on the basis of the position.
