Abstract:
Provided is a specimen collection container that makes it possible to write specimen information on the surface of a barrier film and makes it difficult for the written specimen information to be scratched. A specimen collection container according to this invention comprises a container body and a barrier film disposed on the outer surface of the container body. The water vapor transmission rate of the barrier film at 40° and 90% RH is less than or equal to 0.8 g/(m2/day). The external surface of the barrier film has a rough surface area where the arithmetic mean roughness Ra is greater than or equal to 1.5 μm. The rough surface area of the barrier film composes at least a portion of the outer surface of the specimen collection container.
