Abstract:
This specimen evaluation method includes: a stirring step (SA1) in which a measurement fluid including a specimen is stirred; a measurement step (SA2) in which, after the stirring step (SA1), the density of cells at a position at a prescribed depth in the measurement fluid is measured; a re-measurement step (SA3) in which, after the measurement step (SA2), the density of cells at the position at a prescribed depth in the measurement fluid is measured again; a change calculation step (SA4) in which the difference between the cell densities measured in the measurement step (SA2) and the re-measurement step (SA3) is calculated; and evaluation steps (SA5, SA6, SA7) in which the quality of the specimen is evaluated on the basis of the difference in cell density.
