Title:
SPECIMEN SENSOR AND SPECIMEN-SENSING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/115175
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a compact biosensor which exhibits low current consumption, and a method for measuring an amount of a detected specimen. [Solution] Having: a detection element (110) having a specimen detection part (111) for monotonically increasing in mass according to detection of a specimen; a reference element (120) having a reference measurement part (121) which does not exhibit reactivity to the specimen; a mixer (130) for mixing a detection signal from the detection element (110) and corresponding to the change in mass of the specimen detection part (111), and a reference signal from the reference element (120); a measurement unit (140) for calculating two phase-change candidate values, a positive and a negative value, by heterodyning the signal mixed by the mixer (130), determining the positivity or negativity of the phase on the basis of the change over time in the strength of the signal, and determining the phase-change value from the two phase-change candidate values; and a detection-amount calculation unit (150) for calculating the amount of the specimen detected on the basis of the phase-change value determined by the measurement unit (140).
