Abstract:
Provided is a spectacle lens design system whereby deformation during processing can be suppressed. A spectacle lens design system (LDS100) for designing a spectacle lens comprises a prescription data acquisition unit 110 for acquiring prescription data which include prescription strength information and specified lens thickness information that relates to processing information relating to processing after molding of a spectacle lens, an optical surface calculation unit 122 for calculating an optical surface shape on the basis of the prescription strength information of the prescription data and generating optical surface shape data, an appropriate-lens-thickness-information-generating unit 124 for generating appropriate lens thickness information relating to an appropriate lens thickness after processing is performed, on the basis of the processing information of the prescription data, and a thickness calculation/shape adjustment unit 127 for adjusting the lens shape data on the basis of the optical surface shape data and the appropriate lens thickness information.
