Abstract:
This embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a spectacle lens design system provided with: an information acquisition means (e.g., query information receiver 110, object-side-surface-data selection unit 115) for acquiring a wearer prescription value, frame shape data, information about the lowest wall thickness and the lowest edge thickness of a spectacle lens, and design data pertaining to an object-side surface; a first design data derivation means (e.g., eyeball-side-surface provisional design data calculation unit 123) for deriving first design data pertaining to an eyeball-side surface, the first design data being based on the wearer prescription value and the design data pertaining to the object-side surface; a first thickness information derivation means (e.g., provisional thickness information calculation unit 124) for deriving first values for wall thickness and edge thickness of the spectacle lens on the basis of the derived first design data pertaining to an eyeball-side surface, the design data pertaining to the object-side surface, and the information about the lowest wall thickness and the lowest edge thickness of the spectacle lens, the first values being combined with the frame shape data; a second design data derivation means (e.g., eyeball-side-surface actual design data calculation unit 142) for deriving second design data pertaining to the eyeball-side surface on the basis of the wearer prescription information and the design data pertaining to the object-side surface, the second design data being more precise than the first design data; and a second thickness information derivation means (e.g., thickness information calculation unit 143) for deriving second values for the wall thickness and the edge thickness of the spectacle lens on the basis of the derived second data pertaining to the eyeball-side surface, the design data pertaining to the object-side surface, and the information about the lowest wall thickness and the lowest edge thickness of the spectacle lens.
