Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a spectacle lens which has a reduced degree of yellowness while protecting the eye from blue light rays, and spectacles. [Solution] In this spectacle lens, an optical multilayer film is formed on at least one surface of a base material. The reflectance distribution of the spectacle lens in the visible region has a maximum value in the wavelength region of 440 nm to 460 nm, and a maximum value in the wavelength region of 620 nm to 640 nm. Furthermore, the blue light cutting rate of the spectacle lens calculated using the formula described in "JIS T7333 Appendix C" of the Japanese Industrial Standards is 7% or greater (preferably 8% or greater). The spectacle lens is also configured so as to have a YI value of 6 or less.
