Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a spectacle lens having a lens substrate and a vapour deposited film that is either directly or indirectly on the lens substrate, wherein, in a cross-sectional image taken by means of a transmission electron microscope, the vapour deposited film is an oxide film of a metal selected from the group consisting of zirconium and tantalum, in which a region that is observed as a stripe shape, column shape or a lump shape occupies not more than 20%.
