Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a spectral image capturing device capable of acquiring multiple spectral images formed by lights of different wavelengths in a short period of time. [Solution] Provided is a spectral image capturing device provided with a variable wavelength spectral element, transmission light of which has multiple peak wavelengths in predetermined wavelength ranges, and which varies the peak wavelengths by varying the distance between the facing surfaces of a pair of optical substrates, the spectral image capturing device comprising: a light splitting means for splitting the light transmitted through the variable wavelength spectral element into the predetermined wavelength ranges; and image acquiring units each acquiring only a spectral image formed by the light in a respective wavelength range containing the peak wavelength split by the light splitting means, the respective image acquiring units acquiring images simultaneously.
