Abstract:
Provided are a DFT-spread OFDM transmitter and transmission method, the DFT-spread OFDM transmitter comprising: a phase shift unit that generates a pi/2-BPSK symbol vector by phase-shifting a vector including M binary phase shift keying (BPSK) symbols; a DFT spread unit that generates a DFT-spread pi/2-BPSK symbol vector by spreading the pi/2-BPSK symbol vector by using an M-point DFT matrix; a cyclic extension unit that generates a cyclically extended pi/2-BPSK symbol vector by cyclically extending the DFT-spread pi/2-BPSK symbol vector; a frequency domain spectrum shaping unit that generates a frequency domain spectrum-shaped pi/2-BPSK symbol vector by multiplying each component of the cyclically extended pi/2-BPSK symbol vector by each component of a first shaping vector; and a subcarrier allocation unit that allocates the frequency domain spectrum-shaped pi/2-BPSK symbol vector to subcarriers in an assigned frequency range.
