Abstract:
In order to have robots perform communication with excellent emotionality, a speech and behavior control device (1) comprises: an utterance content selection unit (16) to select utterance content for a robot (100) from among a plurality of utterances; an operation control unit (17) to operate a movable part (13) on the basis of the type of emotion corresponding to the utterance content; and a speech control unit (18) to output the utterance content from the robot (100) as speech after the operation of the movable part (13) starts.
