Abstract:
According to an embodiment, an electronic device may comprise: a microphone that receives surrounding sound; a speaker; a memory; and a processor that, when a user uttered speech is detected through the microphone, performs speech recognition on the user uttered speech and controls the speaker to output a response message corresponding to a speech recognition result. The processor may update a function corresponding to at least one word from among specific words stored in the memory or a link related to the function by using an artificial intelligence learning model, identify at least one word corresponding to a specific function within the user uttered speech when the user uttered speech is detected, search the memory for information related to a word corresponding to the specific function, display functions related to the word corresponding to the specific function on the basis of receiving the information related to the word corresponding to the specific function, and perform some of the functions related to the word corresponding to the specific function on the basis of a user input of the displayed functions related to the word.
