Abstract:
A speech translation program of the present disclosure causes a computer such as an information terminal to function as the following: a speech input unit that can receive speech input in at least two languages; a speech recognition unit that recognizes the content received by the speech input unit; a translation unit that translates the content recognized by the speech recognition unit into a different language; a speech output unit that outputs, as speech, the content translated in the translation unit; and a text display unit that displays the text of the inputted content and the text of the translated content on a screen of the computer so that the text items face in mutually different directions.
