Abstract:
A speed adjustment device (1000) for a capacitance started single-phase induction motor (M), comprising: a three-phase inverter (100) which comprises three output ends (a, b, c), wherein a main winding (WT) of the single-phase induction motor is connected between any two output ends of the three output ends; a controllable switch (200) which is connected in series to a secondary winding (ST) of the single-phase induction motor, one end of the controllable switch being connected to another output end among the three output ends other than the two output ends which are connected to the main winding, the other end of the controllable switch being connected to one end of the secondary winding, and the other end of the secondary winding being connected to any output end of the two output ends which are connected to the main winding; and a controller (300) which respectively controls the three-phase inverter and the controllable switch according to a rotation speed of the single-phase induction motor, so as to adjust the rotation speed of the single-phase induction motor. The speed adjustment device has a simple structure, and can smoothly adjust the speed of a single-phase induction motor. Also provided is a speed adjustment method for a capacitance started single-phase induction motor.
