Abstract:
Motor drive of a supercharger adds a motor output to the output inherent to an engine. Switching of speed change gear is based on the estimation of engine output from throttle opening and engine rpm. Fuel cost of the vehicle is furthermore improved while considering a fact that the deceleration ratio is generally limited as much as possible in order to lower fuel cost of the vehicle. In speed change control of a vehicle equipped with an engine having a motor-driven supercharger and a transmission, when motor-driven supercharge is carried out, the speed change line in a speed change pattern is biased at least partially to the large throttle opening side as compared with the period when the motor-driven supercharge is not carried out. The bias amount may be altered variously starting from 0.
