Abstract:
A speed changer for food processing comprises a gearbox comprising a housing (1) and a gear shift mechanism. The housing (1) is provided therein with a planetary frame (3), a planet gear (4), a sun gear (8), and a sliding ring gear (6). The sliding ring gear (6) is connected to and driven by the gear shift mechanism to make an axial movement. The speed changer realizes a gear shift via the axial movement of the sliding ring gear (6). The speed changer can change transmission ratios according to requirements of different functions, and function satisfactorily in a low speed high torque state and a high speed low torque state alike, thereby enabling a food processing apparatus to have multiple functions. Moreover, a gear shift function can be used when the food processing apparatus is in an ON state, thereby allowing a user to operate the food processing apparatus easily while reducing the time required for food processing.
