Abstract:
A speed estimation apparatus 101 for an AC motor 2 is characterized by being provided with: a model deviation calculation unit 11 that calculates model deviation on the basis of the voltage, the current, and the estimated angular velocity of the AC motor 2; a first angular velocity estimation unit 21 that calculates a first estimated angular velocity as a low-frequency component including the DC component of the real angular velocity on the basis of the model deviation; a second angular velocity estimation unit 22 that calculates a second estimated angular velocity as the high-frequency component of the real angular velocity on the basis of a specific high-frequency component included in the model deviation; and an adder that adds together the first estimated angular velocity and the second estimated angular velocity, wherein the value obtained by adding the first estimated angular velocity and the second estimated angular velocity is fed back to the model deviation calculation unit as the estimated angular velocity.
