Abstract:
A speed prediction method and apparatus. The method comprises: obtaining traffic impact parameter information of a first road section in a current time period (S101), the traffic impact parameter information comprising at least one of an impact parameter of current weather on traffic, an impact parameter of the attribute of a current date on traffic, and an impact parameter of a particular event on traffic; determining the similarity between the traffic impact parameter information and historical traffic impact parameter information of the first road section and stored in a historical traffic database (S102), and determining target historical traffic impact parameter information according to the determined similarity (S103); and predicting, according to a speed that is of a vehicle corresponding to a next time period of a time period corresponding to the target historical traffic impact parameter information and that is stored in the historical traffic database, a first speed of a vehicle corresponding to a next time period in the first road section (S104).
