Abstract:
A speed reducer comprises a middle housing (13), a first transmission shaft (15), and a second transmission shaft (7). A first rolling bearing (10) is fixed to the interior of the middle housing (13). A first end of the first transmission shaft (15) is embedded in an inner ring of the first rolling bearing (10), an end surface of the first end is provided with a groove, and a second rolling bearing (24) is fixed in the groove. A first end of the second transmission shaft (7) is embedded in an inner ring of the second rolling bearing (24). The first transmission shaft (15) and the second transmission shaft (7) are two different shafts in the speed reducer, and the shaft ends of the two shafts are combined via the second rolling bearing (24), and are connected to the middle housing (13) by the first rolling bearing (10), thereby reducing the weight and size of the speed reducer, allowing an electric vehicle to have a larger space for mounting of a battery and improving the distance per charge of the electric vehicle.
