Abstract:
A speed reducer is disclosed. A plurality of eccentric wheels is fixed on an input shaft. A sleeve is provided on the outer circumference of each wheel. A left linking rod and a right linking rod connected with each sleeve are provided in each side of a trolley, hooking boards of the linking rods are engaged with rollers, wherein said roller is positioned on the edge of the trolley. The trolley is fixed on an output shaft. When the left hooking board brings into mesh with the roller during the input shaft driving the eccentric wheel to rotate, the chain teeth on the left hooking board pull the rollers to rotate the trolley towards left. With the help of a direction changement, the left hooking board brings into mesh with the roller, and the teeth on the right hooking board pull the rollers to rotate the trolley towards left. The speed reducer has a large transmission ratio and a large output torque and can change direction during working. It can be applied on the industrial equipment in the petroleum field, architectural field and the like.
