Abstract:
[Problem]The present invention addresses the problem of providing a speed reducing gear capable of suppressing deterioration of lubricating oil. [Solution] In order to solve the abovementioned problem, provided is a speed reducing gear in which a lubricant is enclosed, the speed reducing gear being characterized by having, in a portion that contacts the lubricant, a metal member configured by metal, wherein the lubricant includes a substance that captures metal ions generated from the metal member. According to the present invention, the speed reducing gear holds a lubricant including a substance that captures metal ions, and thus exhibits effects that, even in the case that metal ions are generated from the metal member that contacts the lubricant, the action of metal ions is reduced by means of a substance that captures the metal ions, thereby suppressing the deterioration of the lubricant and the corrosion of the metal member.
