Abstract:
A speed shift device provided with a shift tower for shifting gears due to a change in position, a select piston for changing the position of the shift tower by being moved while interlocking with the shift tower, a select actuator for moving the select piston, an ECU for controlling the select actuator, and a select position sensor for detecting the position of the shift tower by detecting the position of an object to be detected that is provided to the select piston, the ECU controlling the select actuator so as to cause the select piston to move toward the shift tower when there is determined to be an abnormality in the detection result of the select position sensor.
