Abstract:
Disclosed are a sphere of 60-degree regular triangular pyramids connected by insertion and a three-dimensional shape manufacturing method. A sphere of 60-degree regular triangular pyramids connected by insertion, formed of a total of 30 identical components, component 1, component 2,... component 30, connected and assembled together; using rectangular paper of a length to width ratio of 1.7321:1, folding into a parallelogram having a sandwich layer opening and thereby folding into a component; inserting the triangle of component 1 into the triangular sandwich layer opening of component 2, and in the same way, inserting component 2 into component 3, component 3 is then inserted into component 1 to achieve the connection by insertion of one regular triangular pyramid; connecting by insertion in proper sequence to form a regular circular sphere of 20 regular triangular pyramids, i.e. a sphere of 60-degree regular triangular pyramids connected by insertion. The sphere connected by insertion involves simple folding and is solid.
