A spherical flip-chip micro LED and a manufacturing method therefor, and a display panel. The spherical flip-chip micro LED comprises a light-emitting structural body (1), a support structural body (2), first electrodes (3), a second electrode (4), and an insulating protective layer (5), the support structural body (2) being a transparent structure; the first electrodes (3) and the second electrode (4) are electrically connected to the light-emitting structural body (1) respectively; the insulating protective layer (5) covers the light-emitting structural body (1), and the light-emitting structural body (1), the support structural body (2) and the insulating protective layer (5) form a sphere structure. In addition to the light-emitting structural body (1), the spherical flip-chip micro LED is further provided with a transparent support structural body (2), so that a spherical structure having a set size is formed by the light-emitting structural body (1), the support structural body (2) and the insulating protective layer (5), and the normal light emission of the spherical flip-chip micro LED is ensured.
