Abstract:
A spherical parallel mechanism, comprising a base (1) and a moving platform (2). At least two branched kinematic chains are provided between the base (1) and the moving platform (2). Each branched kinematic chain comprises two driving connecting rods (51) and two driven connecting rods (52). In the same branched kinematic chain, the two driving connecting rods (51) are respectively rotatably connected to the base (1) by means of base rotation pairs (6), each driving connecting rod (51) is correspondingly rotatably connected to one driven connecting rod (52) by means of a connecting rod rotation pair (53), the two driven connecting rods (52) are rotatably connected by means of an output rotation pair (4), the connection point of the two driven connecting rods (52) is an output reference point, and the output reference point is rotatably connected to the moving platform (2) by means of a moving platform rotation pair. The axes of the base rotation pairs (6), the connecting rod rotation pairs (53), the output rotation pair (4), and the moving platform rotation pair intersect at one point. The mechanism has strong load capacity, high positioning accuracy, and large working space; the entire mechanism has no driving motor mounted on the moving components, and the structure is simple and light.
