Abstract:
A spherical phosphor comprises a fluorescent substance having a maximum excitation wavelength of 400 nm or longer and a transparent material in which the fluorescent substance is contained, wherein the excitation spectrum intensity in a wavelength region of 340 to 380 nm inclusive is 50% or more of an excitation spectrum intensity at a maximum excitation wavelength of the spherical phosphor in the excitation spectrum of the spherical phosphor. A sealing material for wavelength-conversion-type solar batteries involves a light-transmissive resin composition layer comprising a spherical phosphor and a sealing resin.
