Abstract:
A spindle device (100, 110) according to one aspect of the present invention is provided with a housing (1) and a rotating shaft (2). The rotating shaft (2) is disposed inside the housing (1), and is supported so as to be capable of rotating about a center axis while not in contact with the housing (1). The rotating shaft (2) has a journal bearing part (21) and a thrust bearing part (22). The journal bearing part (21) is cylindrical in shape. The thrust bearing part (22) is a separate member from the journal bearing part (21) and is attached to the journal bearing part (21).
