Abstract:
According to the present invention, a spiral-type gas separation element has a central tube and a laminate (7) wound around the central tube, wherein: the laminate (7) has at least one structure in which a supply-side flow path member (3), a gas separation membrane (2), and a transmission-side flow path member (4) are overlapped in this order, and the thickness of the transmission-side flow path member (4) is 400-1300 μm; and the gas separation membrane (2) is a membrane in which a hydrophilic resin composition layer (20), a porous layer (21), and a transmission-side surface layer (22) are overlapped in this order, and the transmission-side surface layer (22) faces the transmission-side flow path member (4) and has a Young's modulus of 20-400 MPa.
