Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a spleen-strengthening and kidney-tonifying traditional Chinese medicine composition and an application thereof. The composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 15-25 parts of radix puerariae, 12-18 parts of radix salviae miltiorrhizae, 25-35 parts of rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae, 25-35 parts of radix pseudostellariae, 12-18 parts of cortex phellodendri, 25-35 parts of radix astragali, 12-18 parts of rhizoma dioscoreae, 12-18 parts of radix angelicae sinensis, 12-18 parts of fructus ligustri lucidi, 12-18 parts of fructus corni, 3-7 parts of radix glycyrrhizae preparata, and 8-12 parts of pericarpium citri reticulatae. The present invention relates to a formula for treating diabetes mellitus from the spleen and stomach theory. The effects of strengthening spleen, benefiting lung, tonifying kidney, nourishing yin and generating body fluid are achieved. The traditional Chinese medicine composition is used for treating diabetes caused by deficiency of both qi and yin, including dry mouth and polydipsia, throat dryness and dry cough, etc. After taking the traditional Chinese medicine composition, patients suffering from diabetes, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic nephropathy and other complications have obvious curative effects.
