Abstract:
A splicing apparatus (20) according to the present invention is provided with: a drive device (120, etc.) which, by performing a series of operations, causes relative reciprocating motions of a pressing surface (91b) of a first pressing member (91a) and a pressing surface (101b) of a second pressing member (101a) in a direction in which the pressing surface (91b) and the pressing surface (101b) approach or are separated from each other; and a control device (59) which temporarily suspends the series of operations of the drive device (120, etc.) during a pressing state in which, as a result of the series of operations of the drive device (120, etc.), a first splicing tape (30a) and a second splicing tape (30b) are pressed against a first carrier tape (T1) and a second carrier tape (T2), respectively, by the first pressing member (91a) and the second pressing member (101a).
