A splicing apparatus for sheet materials having different widths, comprising a first roller and a second roller matched with each other. An arc-shaped protrusion is provided on the roller surface of the first roller, and the second roller is configured as a flat roller; the roller surfaces of the first and second rollers are both suspended above a mounting base; a roller shaft of the first roller is provided with strip-shaped through holes, and connecting members connected to the roller surface of the first roller are placed in the strip-shaped through holes. New and old sheet materials fed between the two rollers are spliced into one piece in the width direction at one time; a splicing section is gradually inclined from one side to the other side and has a certain width, and when passing through related devices of the subsequent process, only 3-35 percent of a thickened part passes, and the rest part that passes are single-layer, thus completely solving the problem of blocking and the problem that the diameter of base tobacco bars does not meet the standards, guaranteeing the tensile strength of the splicing section, and simplifying the splicing structure.
