Abstract:
This splicing device (10) is provided with: a device body (11); a tape connecting part (15) provided on the device body (11) and connecting, with a splicing tape (30), two carrier tapes (100) conveyed to a splicing position (Ls); a control unit (16) provided in the device body (11); and a pair of splicing units (13), (14). The pair of splicing units (13), (14) is provided with: a tape guide part (59) removably mounted on the device body (11), formed at least in accordance with the tape width of the carrier tapes (100), and guiding the carrier tapes (100) in a conveyable manner; a tape conveying device (51) for conveying the carrier tapes (100) along the tape guide part (59); and a sensing unit (53) for sensing the position at which the carrier tapes (100) are cut.
