Abstract:
A splicing tape management system comprising, with regards to appropriately performing time limit management of a splicing tape: a first storage unit for storing, in association, an identification code of a splicing tape for splicing a first carrier tape and a second carrier tape and the validity period of the splicing tape; and a management unit for managing the use of the splicing tape on the basis of the validity period and the identification code stored in the first storage unit. The validity period is the period after which use of the splicing tape should be discontinued, and is determined on the basis of the time of manufacture of the splicing tape and the period for which the splicing tape can be used after manufacture, or on the basis of the time of start of use of the splicing tape and the period for which the splicing tape can be used after the start of use.
